Energy Efficiency  - Shoulders Construction is the first Henderson home builder to build every one of our homes to comply with the national ENERGY STAR program, the most hailed energy efficiency program in the nation.
  Quality craftsmanship combined with the best materials should result in an energy efficient structure, however without a test there is no guarantee. Every builder can use ENERGY STAR rated materials, but every builder’s work is not tested. As an ENERGY STAR builder, Shoulders Construction submits each of our homes to a scientific test known as the blower door test. This test measures the air tightness of the structure as well as the air tightness of the duct work, two very important factors desired by every new home owner. Through this test Shoulders Construction provides documented proof to our clients that these materials were installed properly to ensure their high performance level.

Insurance  - In compliance with Kentucky state law (KRS 342.630), Shoulders Construction maintains workers’ compensation insurance coverage. We also carry general liability insurance on all construction projects.

Warranty  - Your new home is warranted for a period of one year from the date you move in. Some things such as HVAC, water heater, appliances, etc, are subject to manufacturer’s warranty.
